TUV is for safety. It is an international organization that tests everything from components to manufactured consumer products. In fact, Sunair® has a GS certificate for end system compliance which means that our entire system was tested to the following DIN specifications, not just a component BAUART certificate like most of our competition:

DIN VDE 1000 -- General principles for safety design of technical products.
DIN 1055-4/A1 -- Design loads for buildings; imposed loads; wind loads on structures unsusceptible to vibration.
DIN VDE 0700-238 -- Safety of household and similar electrical appliances.

In addition, TUV performs an annual factory inspection at our Jessup, MD plant to ensure that the product is made with consistency and remains compliant with the originally tested design.
